International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM™) 國際嬰幼兒按摩協會多年來持續在世界各地努力推廣嬰幼兒按摩的好處，它已經被許多研究證實有助於增進親子的親密感 (Bonding) 及 依附關係 (Attachment) 、幫助嬰兒睡眠與身心放鬆、減少哭閙情形、有益身心健康。目前被許多照顧高危險群嬰幼兒(早產兒、特殊需要兒童)的醫療單位所採用，也被發現具有提昇一般嬰幼兒發展潛能的效果。
